About
About Hormone OS
Hormone OS is an iPhone app that reads the health signals you may already be collecting, adds a 60-second daily check-in, and shows women their weekly patterns. Not a diagnosis. A pattern.
Who makes it
Hormone OS is made by a small team.
Why we built it
We are a small team. We were tired of watching women we love and care about struggle to navigate perimenopause and menopause, so we decided to do something about it.
Hormone OS is built around a simple idea: symptoms are easier to talk about when you can see them together. Sleep, heart rate, cycle and temperature may already be recorded by your phone or wearable. How you feel is not, which is why there is a daily check-in.
What it does and doesn’t do
- It shows patterns. It is not a diagnosis, and it does not give medical advice.
- It is meant to make an appointment more useful, not to replace one. The weekly report includes questions that may be worth bringing to your doctor.
- It reads your health signals from Apple Health and never writes to them.
- Your voice is transcribed on your device by Apple’s speech framework, and the audio is never uploaded.
The details are in the privacy policy and the FAQ.
About the guides
The guides on this site are general information, not medical advice. Where they refer to symptoms, they follow the NHS’s public guidance on the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause.
